California officials blast price cap order

HOUSTON, Apr. 27, 2001–The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s order to cap prices for California instate generators at cost infuriated the governor of California, confused energy suppliers, and worried utilities in other Western States.

HOUSTON, April 27, 2001 – TEPPCO Partners, L.P. today reported that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved the partnership’s settlement offer for its market-based rates application.
