California PX report concludes players didn’t game the market

Oct. 24, 2000–In a special investigation into the cause of high electricity prices experienced in California this summer, the California Power Exchange concluded that no one electricity supplier group or individual was responsible for the high and volatile prices in the spot markets.

HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 24, 2000 (PRNewswire) – The Pennsylvania Electric Association and the Pennsylvania Gas Association recently have agreed to merge the two associations into the newly created Energy Association of Pennsylvania.
