California state Senate committee holds Enron and Mirant in contempt

June 29, 2001—A California state Senate committee investigating the possibility of electricity price manipulation has voted to hold Mirant and Enron in contempt for not turning over some subpoenaed documents, the Sacramento Bee reported today.
