Cash-strapped utility owes Calpine $267 million

Calpine’s QF subsidiaries sell power to PG&E under the terms of long-term QF contracts at eleven facilities, representing nearly 600 megawatts of electricity for Northern California power customers.

April 9, 2001 – The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) today criticized the Bush Administration for proposing deep cuts in funding for the federal wind energy research and development (R&D) program and other renewable energy research efforts.
