Central New Mexico Electric Cooperative reports success with remote monitoring system

CNMEC has been using Bullhorn for real-time power outage reporting since February. Bullhorn checks inputs from equipment remotely and provides automatic notification of alarm events by fax, page and/or email.

ROSSLYN, Va., July 13, 2001 — Reiterating what it had recently told the House of Representatives, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) today told the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources that the use of energy efficient products and systems could result in significant savings in both the public and private sector.
