Cinergy director joins CES International board

Brian Stallman joins the board following a recent $10 million strategic investment in CES International by Cinergy Ventures LLC, the investment arm of Cincinnati-based Cinergy, one of the nation’s leading diversified energy companies.

ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 11, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE)–The AES Corporation (NYSE:AES) and EDF International S.A. (EDF) announced today they have entered into an agreement to acquire a 9.2% interest in Light Servicos de Eletricidade S.A. (Light) from a subsidiary of Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) for $362 million.
