City of Mesa signs contract for SCT’s customer management system

The contracts, which have a potential value in excess of $5.5 million were signed in the Company’s first quarter ended December 31, 2000. The agreement under which SCT will provide Mesa with services for the licensed software is subject to the City appropriating sufficient funds for the services over a multi-year period.

DEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 24, 2001 – CMS Energy Corporation (NYSE:CMS) today announced sustainable 2000 earnings of $2.53 per share, compared to $2.85 per share of sustainable earnings in 1999.
