CMS Energy reports fourth quarter and year 2000 earnings

Total 2000 earnings, including the previously announced $268 million after-tax write down of the Loy Yang Power investment in Australia, and 20 cents per share of non-sustainable gains from asset sales totaled 32 cents per share on net income of $36 million. Reported 1999 earnings were $2.17 per share on net income of $269 million.
