Connecticut utility regulators delay decision on impending merger

HARTFORD, Conn., Sep. 19, 2000 (Knight Ridder/Tribune)–For the fourth time in the last week, state utility regulators delayed their preliminary decision on the proposed merger of Consolidated Edison and Northeast Utilities, saying Monday the draft won’t be made public until Friday.
