Consumer advocates tout electric buying groups

Oct. 30, 2000 (Dayton Daily News)–While 136 towns in northern Ohio are trying to form electric buying groups, most Miami Valley governments aren’t – even though consumer advocates say it’s the best way to protect the little guys.

Oct. 30, 2000 (The Palm Beach Post)–Florida Power & Light customers soon will notice an extra 67 cents per month on their bills starting in 2002.
