billserv.com has signed a three-year agreement to provide an electronic bill presentment and payment system for The Montana Power Co. The system, which should be fully deployed in April, will let customers view and pay their bills online.
KeySpan Energy Services has selected Energy Services Group (ESG) to provide electronic data interchange (EDI) and data processing services in its mid-Atlantic retail energy markets. ESG will be responsible for processing KeySpan’s customer data, which will include establishing EDI transaction sets, managing transmission media, supporting trading partners, and performing translation and mapping services.
Wisconsin Electric has selected Syntellect Interactive Services’ OutageTicket utility outage reporting and automated response solution. OutageTicket is intended to increase customer service levels and customer response time during power outages.
PacifiCorp has selected several software solutions from Informatica Corp. to enhance its customer service and back office operational systems. PacifiCorp will use Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica PowerConnect for SAP R/3 and Informatica Analytic Applications.
ALSTOM ESCA Corp. is the prime contractor for a major energy management system project at Tampa Electric. Telenetics Corp. has been named the exclusive supplier of specialized data communications products for the project. The project will continue throughout 2000.
