DNV KEMA names Russ Perkins senior vice president, marketing, sales

DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability, a leading global authority on energy consulting, testing and certification, announced that Russ Perkins has joined its executive management team as senior vice president of marketing and sales for the Americas.
 
Perkins brings an action-oriented vision to strengthen the organization’s market leadership while meeting strategic sales and growth objectives, said Hugo van Nispen, DNV KEMA chief operating officer for the Americas.
 
“Russ’s proven ability to drive strategic marketing and sales initiatives across multiple channels and departments will be a key for our organization,” van Nispen said. “His success in building long-term, sustainable business models falls right in line with DNV KEMA’s mission and goals for the future, and we are thrilled to have him join our team.”
 
Prior to joining DNV KEMA, Perkins served as a director of GOSI sales within BMC Software Inc., where he exceeded annual fiscal quotas and managed some of the company’s largest sales efforts. Previously he held senior sales positions at Computer Associates Inc.; Ernst & Young LLP; and AT&T Solutions. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Vermont.
 
“I am excited to join DNV KEMA and to work closely with the various department executives to identify and develop marketing and sales opportunities that advance the company’s innovative client solutions,” Perkins said. “The energy industry is an exciting and ever-changing field that I am eagerly looking forward to joining.”
