DOE selects six projects for economically curbing mercury emissions from coal power plants

The winning projects were submitted by the University of North Dakota’s Energy & Environmental Research Center in Grand Forks; URS Group. Inc., of Austin, TX; CONSOL, Inc., of Library, PA; Southern Research Institute in Birmingham, AL; Powerspan Corp., of Durham, NH; and Apogee Scientific, Inc., of Englewood, CO.

WELLESLEY, Mass., June 18, 2001– Starting today, California electricity customers can visit Nexus Energyguide’s California Rebate Solutions Center at to help them earn energy rebate money under Governor Davis’ 20/20 electricity rebate program.
