Dominion Resources removed from rating watch negative

The rating action reflects the improvement in DRI’s balance sheet and liquidity position resulting from nearly $2.4 billion of asset sales and the issuance of over $3.0 billion of new equity and long-term debt securities since June 2000. The ratings affected by this action are listed below.

ARLINGTON, Va., Nov 27, 2000 (PRNewswire via COMTEX) — The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) today signed a landmark agreement that paves the way for more joint research efforts. NRECA’s Cooperative Research Network (CRN), the association’s research arm, will be principally responsible for managing research efforts with DOE.
