DSSI’s Comverge Technologies announces contract for peak power reduction using its advanced adaptive algorithm

The contract calls for peak reduction controllers to be installed at over 10,000 residences with expansions over the next two years. The program, which has been approved by the regulatory authority for installation in up to 50,000 homes, will be offered by the utility to over 700,000 customers with central air conditioning.

ALLENTOWN, Pa., Aug. 29, 2001 — Ringgold School District in New Eagle, Pa., has agreed to a $2.1 million energy savings project with PPL Corporation subsidiary PPL EnergyPlus designed to save the district energy and maintenance costs and replace aging heating and cooling systems.
