DTE Energy Services, Entergy to build 320-MW gas-fired power plant in Will County, Illinois

The plant, located about 30 miles south of Chicago in the Village of Crete, will generate electricity with four high-efficiency General Electric 7EA natural gas-fired turbines. Commercial operation of the facility is scheduled for June 2002. The facility will be operated by Entergy Operating Systems, Inc., in cooperation with DTE Energy Services.
