April proved a good month for record-breaking e-trades, with Altra`s Chalkboard system and the NYMEX ACCESS both reporting all-time highs for natural gas liquids and natural gas futures, respectively.

April 13, natural gas liquids trading hit 2,125,480 barrels on Chalkboard, Altra`s real-time electronic brokerage system for cash trading of crude oil and natural gas liquids. Chalkboard`s average daily volume for natural gas liquids is 850,000 barrels.

April 28, Henry Hub natural gas futures set a record on ACCESS with 12,530 contracts traded, surpassing the previous record of 11,095 contracts, traded during the Dec. 3, 1998 session.
