Ebidenergy.com to expand online energy procurement services

eBidenergy.com will be the first ASP to deliver both an RFP and bid-based platform for energy procurement. In September 2000, eBidenergy.com launched its Web site with bid-based energy procurement and energy data hosting and analysis services. eBidenergy.com’s new RFP platform will allow energy buyers and suppliers to communicate directly with each other through email links on the eBidenergy.com Web site during the procurement process.

NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2001 – Given California’s energy crisis, municipal electric utility credit quality should remain stable despite possible disruptive electrical peak demands this summer, Moody’s Investors Service says in a soon-to-be published report, which also cautions that the utilities’ situation is not entirely risk free.
