El Paso Electric files unopposed settlement proposal in New Mexico rate case

On April 23, 2001, El Paso Electric filed a full base rate case, supporting an increase in revenues totaling $50.7 million. Almost 90%, or $45.2 million of that total represented EPE’s recoverable costs for fuel and power purchases on behalf of customers, which are not currently included in base rates.
