EPA Administrator Whitman visits APS solar facility, stresses commitment to solar development

“I am really excited to be at a facility like this because this is the future,” Whitman said, speaking from the APS Solar Test and Research (STAR) Center in Tempe during a tour with Arizona Gov. Jane Dee Hull. “What you’re seeing here is the actual work that allows us to be able to say that we have alternative renewable energy sources that are real.”
