EPRI study shows real-time pricing can reduce energy bills

But a new report from EPRI asserts that market-based real-time pricing (RTP) could lower overall energy prices by 10% and provide even greater savings for participating customers.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Dec 19, 2000 – New Mexico’s largest utility has acquired a $10 million stake in MainStreet Networks, a company that plans to provide Internet-based services to homes through a device attached at the customer’s electric meter.
