Fayetteville reverses decision to build power plant with SCANA

Steven K. Blanchard, general manager of the Fayetteville PWC, recommended that the city withdraw from the negotiations unless SCANA assume a greater portion of the potential financial risk in the event that the project could not be completed as scheduled. SCANA officials maintained their position that the PWC should bear its proportionate share of the project’s financial risks.

WESTBORO, Mass., Dec. 20, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE)–National Grid U.S.A has announced that four members of its executive team will assume new responsibilities, effective January 1, 2001.
