FCI-Burndy Products introduces the Patriot PAT600-18V

FCI-Burndy Products introduces the newly designed Patriot PAT600-18V 6 ton battery actuated crimping tool for all electrical markets. With an industry leading crimp speed of less than four seconds, and 160-200 plus crimps per charge. The PAT600-18V crimp tool is your ideal crimping solution.

The PAT600-18V tool features the latest engineering technology with a patented high-speed pump, transmission and piston design. The specialized latch style head provides full 180-degree rotation and allows interference free closure on tap connections. Die selection includes all BURNDY “W” and “W-VT” style dies (purchased separately) designed to seat in the permanent D3 crimping groove. Installation applications include #8 to 600 kcmil copper, #8 to 350 kcmil aluminum lugs and splices and up to 4/0 aluminum tap connections.

The PAT600-18V provides 6 tons of crimping force, an audible “pop-off” valve to signal completion of crimp, and an ergonomic design that allows one-handed operation. Coupled with a variable speed trigger, the PAT600-18V holds it’s position when the trigger is released. This hold feature allows the operator to hold the connector between dies and ensure proper connector alignment.

Each tool comes complete with a high impact storage case, two 18-volt NI-MH batteries, battery charger and a recently introduced “W” die tree, for convenient die storage. The industry exclusive 18-volt Ni-MH battery eliminates voltage depression, maximizing the number of crimps per charge. Each PAT600-18V tool uses Burndy dies and off the shelf connectors available worldwide. The PAT600-18V comes complete with a 2- year limited warranty and one year on the batteries and charger.
