Federal legislators seek investigation of Bonneville Power Administration

Oct. 10, 2000–Congressional members requested the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the General Accounting Office (GAO) to investigate Bonneville Power Administration for selling its low-cost hydroelectric power first to Northwestern area customers and only at higher prices into the California market.
