Florida Power Corp. reaches agreement with Gulfstream Natural Gas to serve Hines Power Plant

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Feb. 27, 2001 (PRNewswire) – Mirant Corp. (NYSE: MIR – news) today announced an agreement to shift 1,000 megawatts in power contracts from the California Power Exchange to the state’s Department of Water Resources (DWR), which is acting as the state’s electricity buyer.
