Four customers seek to force energy firm into bankruptcy

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 20, 2000 (KANSAS CITY STAR)–Four customers with combined claims of almost $25 million against Mountain Energy Corp. are asking that the Kansas City energy marketer be forced into bankruptcy.

CHICAGO and PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 19, 2000 (PRNewswire) – Unicom Corporation and PECO Energy Company (NYSE: PE) today announced that they have received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission to complete their merger to form Exelon Corporation.
