Gas supplies down 158 bcf for week AGA reports

Robert Morris, energy analyst at Salomon Smith Barney Inc., predicted in his Monday report withdrawal of 145-160 bcf of natural gas would be made from U.S. underground storage. That compares with withdrawals of 116 bcf during the same period last year and 85 bcf in 1998.

NEW YORK, NY, Dec. 20, 2000 – Moody’s Investors Service has placed the A3 underlying credit rating on the revenue and lease rental bonds of the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO) on Credit Watchlist reflecting uncertainties about the MISO’s future role and the outcome of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s review of the filings by several members who have announced their intention to depart MISO.
