GE digital energy closes deal to acquire IMV, a European-based UPS company

Present in more than 80 countries with a network of professional Business Partners, IMV provides power protection solutions from stand alone UPS to large, distributed networks. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

ATLANTA, July 30, 2001 — Atlanta Gas Light Company today announced that it has entered into a long-term agreement with IMServ to provide automated meter reading technology to read more than 1.3 million meters in Georgia, at no additional cost to customers.
