GPU pleased with Pennsylvania PUC ruling on PLR obligations

The settlement permits Metropolitan Edison Company (Met-Ed) and Pennsylvania Electric Company (Penelec) to defer energy costs that they are experiencing in excess of what they are allowed to charge customers associated with their provider of last resort (PLR) obligation.
