Green Mountain Energy gets cash infusion from Dutch utility

Oct. 3, 2000–Green Mountain Energy, the niche renewable power retailer, received a cash infusion of $53.5 million for working capital from Dutch utility Nuon. Green Mountain is selling electricity in states that have adopted electricity deregulation.

DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 3, 2000– CMS Energy Corp. has joined a group of North American utilities in Enporion Inc., a global procurement exchange for the energy industry.
