Honeywell’s first-quarter earnings slide

MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J., April 20, 2001 – Honeywell said its first-quarter ongoing earnings per share (EPS) were $0.51, excluding $595 million (after-tax $374 million) in repositioning and other charges. Reported first-quarter EPS was $0.05.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 24, 2001 – Pacific Gas and Electric Company filed a motion with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court today asking the court to confirm that the funds collected by the utility for Public Purpose Programs – including energy efficiency, low income, research and development and renewable generation programs – are not part of the bankruptcy estate and can be used to honor pre-petition obligations incurred in connection with the Public Purpose Programs.
