Indiana Development Finance Authority approves $1 million loan for Midwest ISO

The loan is part of the economic development package that the state offered the Midwest ISO in November 1999 to locate in central Indiana. Under the terms of the 10-year loan, the Midwest ISO agreed to add 150 jobs paying an average annual salary of $75,000 and to invest more than $70 million in its high-tech infrastructure. Up to $500,000 of the loan would be forgivable if the Midwest ISO meets those development goals.
