Intergraph’s next-generation AM/FM/GIS to serve Veridian Connections Inc.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 4, 2004 — Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions announced Veridian Connections Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Veridian Corporation, has purchased G/Electric, Intergraph’s geofacilities management system for electric utilities based on Intergraph’s next generation G/Technology. Located in Central Ontario, Canada, Veridian Connections Inc. powers more than 91,000 homes and businesses and is jointly owned by the cities of Pickering and Belleville, the Town of Ajax and the Municipality of Clarington.

The G/Electric system will be implemented throughout the enterprise for all records maintenance, asset planning and asset design functions and will interface to the existing corporate customer information and financial information systems, as well as the Dromey DESS electrical analysis package. A diverse group of employees – from engineers to design technicians to supervisors, customer service agents and field representatives – will use the solution.

According to Veridian Connections Inc. Executive Vice President Axel Starck, “Intergraph’s G/Electric will enable our company to meet business-critical and strategic initiatives with a completely integrated IT environment.
