IOS unveils its latest web application for protective relay systems

Users of RSS have a one-stop location to store, edit and display relay data, from the most general information, such as manufacturer, model, style and parameter names to specifics, such as serial number, circuit and operational settings. What makes RSS unique is the ability to store up to five sets of settings in either normal, draft, temporary or archived modes. This allows technical personnel flexibility in all phases of operation.

Avenir Systems today announced details of new developments for its suite of Classic software products for the utilities industry. “When we purchased Orcom’s Classic software division last October, we knew that we௿½d spend the first many months putting out fires and attending to the needs of the existing customer base.௿½ says Brad Brown, president of Avenir Systems. “We’ve also been listening intensely – discovering our customers’ needs and priorities. Based on their input, we’re putting first things first, starting with four key enhancements to the current Classic Suite.௿½
