Iowa task force, legislature, consider energy moves

An Energy Policy Task Force appointed by Gov. Tom Vilsack and Lt. Gov. Sally Pederson is developing policy proposals for Iowa’s energy future. The legislature is considering several energy bills to increase electricity reliability and supply for the state.

March 23, 2001—Great River Energy, enXco, and Project Resources Corp. (PRC) will develop a 21-MW wind project within the next year for Great River’s basic generation mix, according to a statement by Great River Energy.
