IP signals intent to leave Midwest ISO

The MISO transmission owner’s agreement does permit withdrawals; however, the Midwest ISO disagrees with Illinois Power’s contention that its withdrawal could become effective by December 2001. Illinois Power’s responsibility for its share of financial obligations incurred prior to the date, if any, that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission may approve withdrawal does not appear to be in dispute.
