Jim McHugh has joined Skipping Stone as a principal in the Atlanta office.
McHugh specializes in project managing teams in large, matrix organizations to achieve bottom line objectives for new product and service offerings, large capital projects, and in acquisition and post-acquisition integration initiatives.
McHugh’s energy experience includes contract structuring and negotiation, leadership of due diligence teams, market analysis of power and gas utilities, strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, and leading the development of business processes under ISO9001 and Baldridge criteria.
He has served in executive roles at IBM and Schneider Electric. At IBM, McHugh led business development efforts for information technology managed services and industry-specific solutions for large energy and utility accounts in the eastern U.S. These energy and utility solutions included smart grid, application management services, information technology outsourcing services and business process management. At Schneider Electric, he was responsible for sales of Energy Solutions’ Energy Management organization in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

McHugh earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Aviation Officer Candidate School.
