Kissimmee contracts Derivion

Kissimmee Utility Authority in Kissimmee, Fla., recently contracted Derivion (www.derivion.com) to provide its inetBiller Internet billing service. The inetBiller product is designed for mid-tier billers, companies who need an electronic billing solution that can be implemented quickly and managed easily. Derivion acts as a turnkey service bureau, designing the online bill, establishing interfaces to existing billing systems, presenting bills, promoting the service and launching the customer enrollment process. Implementation is achieved in 30 to 60 days from contract signing to first bill.

“We knew we needed to offer Internet billing and were eager to get going, but the economics had to work in our favor,” said Chris Beck, director of marketing for Kissimmee Utility Authority. “The solutions we looked at had consistently high startup costs, heavy resource requirements for customization, and other aspects more suited to very high volume billers. inetBiller gives us reasonable up-front costs and a per-transaction fee, which we expect to immediately recoup in savings over printed bill processing.”
