Local builder tackles energy crisis by offering comprehensive energy management program

One local builder, William Ryan Homes, is doing something about this by instituting a major energy efficiency package – The Certified Plus Home (CPH) – into their construction to help buyers pay less in utility costs.

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., June 7, 2001 – National Grid today announced that its U.S. transmission business has achieved ISO 14001 registration of its Environmental Management System (EMS), the first linear electric utility system in the country to achieve such designation.
