Mercury control technology to be tested at Great River Energy’s Coal Creek station

The nearly $1.2 million testing project, being conducted by the URS Group, Inc. of Austin, Tex., was awarded almost $900,000 in funding from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). EPRI, the North Dakota Industrial Commission and Great River Energy also are providing funding for the research project.
