Midwestern utilities given more time to comply with emission standards

CHARLESTON, Oct. 9, 2000 (State Journal)–A federal appeals court has given Midwestern and Southern utilities more time to install equipment in their coal-fired power plants to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions.
