Minnesota attorney general wants to veer away from electric deregulation

BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Oct. 12, 2000 ( Knight Ridder/Tribune) –Attorney General Mike Hatch says the Legislature should not consider even opening a crack in the door to deregulation of electricity, if it wants to avoid the soaring prices and consumer fraud evident in other states.
