Moody’s places Midwest ISO on credit watchlist

The MISO, which would manage the Midwest power grid for its members when it begins operating in November 2001, could see several withdrawals from the organization in the next few months, according to earlier reports from six power transmission system owners.

CINCINNATI, Ohio, Dec. 21, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE)–Cinergy Corp., the Environmental Protection Agency and other parties have reached an agreement in principle that could resolve Clean Air Act claims against Cinergy’s coal-fired power plants.
