Natural gas storage levels rising AGA reports

With more than a month of the traditional refill season left and with 2.48 tcf in storage, natural gas utilities will be well-prepared again this year to meet their customers’ needs, said Chris McGill, AGA director of gas supply and transportation. He explained injections into storage have continued into December as recently as 1998.

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., Oct. 11, 2000 (PRNewswire)–The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) gave its final approval Friday on the proposed merger of PECO Energy Company and Unicom Corporation, parent company of Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd), when it approved the request for the indirect transfer of licenses for both company’s nuclear plants to Exelon Corporation, the holding company to be formed in connection with the proposed merger.
