New Brunswick Power to seek authorization for 345 kv line

HOUSTON, May 3 — Canada’s New Brunswick Power Corp., Fredericton, NB, submitted a preliminary request to the National Energy Board to build the Canadian portion of a 345 kv international power line from Point Lepreau, NB, to Orrington, Maine.

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–May 3, 2001–The New England regional office of AES NewEnergy announced today that it has been granted an electric supplier license from the State of New Hampshire. The license, effective April 18, 2001, was awarded by the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission.
