New company develops Internet-based data communications for energy markets

The company, called PowerOneData, Inc., will introduce its products and systems in Spring 2001. It is currently testing and validating its proprietary technology which features build-in measurement and communications systems that provide high-volume, real-time energy use monitoring over the Internet.

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Feb. 6, 2001–Making good use of AMR data increasingly makes business sense, allowing utilities to save millions of dollars per year and provide the customer with useful solutions, according to speakers in a DistribuTECH 2001 session entitled, “Creating Value with AMR.”
