New England ISO projects program will cut demand 300-600 MW

HOUSTON, Mar. 20, 2001–With summer approaching, the New England grid operator said a new conservation program will allow it to buy down demand and reduce the level of reserve capacity it currently requires.

ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 20, 2001 – eBidenergy.com, an application service provider (ASP) of online energy services, and Ameren Data & Metering Specialties (AmerenDMS), a certified Meter Service Provider (MSP), announced today that the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) selected the companies to pilot its Peak-Load Reduction Program.
