New World Power executes additional power supply contracts

Modular Power Systems already supplies approximately 43 megawatts of similar electrical energy peaking capacity under multiple year contracts to the utility through its locations in Coldwater, Chelsea and Alma, Michigan.

Jan. 2, 2001—The cash and credit squeeze created by the electricity crisis in California has prompted 15-20 natural gas suppliers to decline to sell gas to the company beyond current commitments, Pacific Gas and Electric Co., a unit of PG&E Corp. said.
