New York Power Authority stresses need for new gas turbines

HOUSTON, Texas, Mar. 22, 2001–The New York Power Authority (NYPA), worried that blackouts will hit the New York City area this summer, urged the New York State Assembly to support the installation of emergency turbines in the city.
