Niagara Mohawk Customers to See $19 Million Reduction in Electricity Delivery Prices

“We are pleased to bring our customers a third year of delivery price reductions,” said William Davis, Niagara Mohawk chairman and CEO. “These savings and New York state’s important energy tax reductions will play a significant role in our efforts to promote economic development and competition across our service territory.” Since its five-year price reduction and restructuring plan became effective in September 1998, Niagara Mohawk has consistently reduced electricity delivery prices, offered all customers a choice of electricity suppliers and restructured the company.

ZURICH, Switzerland-ABB, the global technology company, has acquired Energy Interactive Inc., a provider of information software and services to the U.S. energy market. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
